My professional experience, results driven attitude, and leadership will serve our city, ensuring that every step forward we take benefits us all.
I will focus on things we can control: better budgeting to lower taxes, driving innovation to support local jobs, and ensuring public safety so our children can play freely in our parks.

Partnered with a major telecom provider to secure a new communications tower in Timberlands, greatly improving service in Red Deer’s east.

Innovative Economic Development Tools
Introduced the Community Revitalization Levy (CRL)—a strategic alternative to tax increase—to encourage private investment, raise property values, and fund urban renewal.
- Sustainable Community Fundraising
Helped a local non-profit raise over $64,000 since 2017, with about $10,000 contributed annually to community programs. -
Provincial Collaboration for Mid-Sized Cities
Served on the Mid-sized Mayors Caucus (2021–2024), building relationships and advocating for equitable opportunities across Alberta.

Biography
Having lived in Red Deer my entire life, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for the vibrant, resilient community we call home. This city has shaped who I am, and I’m passionate about giving back—bringing energy, integrity, and a strong sense of purpose to public service.
As a neighbour, an engaged citizen, and a current City Councillor, I’m always focused on the bigger picture—seeking out opportunities to make Red Deer an even better place for individuals and families to live, work, and thrive. I believe in standing up for what’s right and using my experience to drive meaningful, lasting change.
